English longcase clock. A very unusual designed mahogany case with fretwork hood surround decorated with original wood finials. Round wood columns to both hood and trunk with inset wood panels to both trunk and base. Eight-day-duration movement, striking the hours on a bell.

Hand painted arch dial with unrestored artwork. Seconds and calendar rings. Dial unsigned.

There is a probablilty that this is an American case as I have never seen its like constructed in this style before in either Great Britain or Ireland.
