Downshire House Clocks & Barometers is situated close to the Harbor in the picturesque and historic town of Camden, Maine, considered by many to be the "Jewel of the Maine Coast."

Specializing in rare longcase clocks and barometers, displayed in our 1,200 square feet of showrooms—and believing that buying a clock or barometer should be a pleasurable occasion—we welcome your visit.

Alternately, should the clock or barometer you seek not be amongst the selection shown in these web pages, we are happy to provide you with photographs and information of other pieces that might be of interest to you.

All our cases when called for are sympathetically restored with movements fully guaranteed. We also provide a delivery service to set up any clock or barometer purchased from us to any destination in the United States.

Should you on the other hand be selling either a single piece or collection, we would be happy to offer to purchase rare clocks or barometers constructed during the same period as displayed on our web site. Looking forward to being of service to you in the future.

Our showroom hours are from November 1st to May 1st by chance or by appointment, and otherwise 10:30–5:30 Monday to Saturday, and Sundays by chance or appointment.
