English longcase clock. Mahogany veneered case of good proportions, decorated with crossbanding and stringing. The swan neck hood, with original brass paterie and center finial, has a scalloped door with reeded decoration below. Eight-day duration movement, striking hours on a bell. The painted arch dial, with "Moon Phase," has Arabic numerals, seconds hand, and recessed, curved calendar aperture. Dial inscribed:
