An English "Norfolk" wall clock An elegant mahogany veneered case of attractive proportions, exceptional ringed wood bezel with fine columns to trunk, sides, and stepped base. Eight-day-duration movement, striking hours on a bell.

Shaped weights with integral pulleys. Round painted dial (restored) with rare seconds centre sweep hand.

This is an exceptional wall clock, one of the best "Norfolk" clocks I have seen. Unfortunately, there is no known maker recorded but it is possible, because of fading, that they were not able to decipher the name when the dial was restored.
