The restoration to the case is of the higest standard with fine quality gilding and original glass to both hood door and "bull's eye" aperture to trunk door. The superior eight-day movement striking the half hour and double-striking the hour on two bells. The movement is constructed with steel plates and pillars similar to the French Morbier style.
