An extremely large and rare Swedish wall clock. Restored iron case with either maker's name or most probably the name of the company or person it was commissioned for. The high-quality small "turret," time-only duratioin movement has both dead beat escapemenet and maintaining power. The thick, tin dial has the original hands. Case inscribed: F.W. Tornberg, Stockholm Turret movements are normally only constructed for either tower or steeple clocks. It is exceptionally rare to find one in a wall clock. (Size: 22 inches wide by 27 inches high.)
