Welsh longcase clock. Attractive mahogany-veneered case of slim proportions with swan-neck hood, reeded brass columns to sides, and one-quarter-reeded columns to trunk. Eight-day-duration movement, striking hours on a bell.

Hand-painted arch dial with "rocking ship" (automata) in arch includes seconds ring, recessed date aperture, and maker's name:
